We sell things that are supposed to solve a problem. If yours does not, you should not be stuck with it. That is the whole policy — the rest is detail.
The 30-day guarantee
You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return for any reason. You do not have to justify it, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
How to start a return
- Email hello@niftyden.com with your order number and, if the item is faulty, a photo or short video.
- We reply within one business day with a prepaid return label and a return authorisation number.
- Pack the item, attach the label, and drop it off.
Do not send anything back before you have a return authorisation — unlabelled parcels arriving at our warehouse cannot be matched to an order, and we may not be able to refund them.
What we need the item to be in
- Complete, with any accessories, cables or parts it arrived with
- Not damaged beyond what normal testing would cause
You are welcome to open the box and actually try the product. Testing something is not “using it up”, and we will not reject a return because the seal is broken. We only push back when an item comes back broken in a way that is clearly not our fault or a manufacturing defect.

We do not charge restocking fees.
Refunds
Once your return is scanned at our warehouse, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. We refund the full price you paid for the item, including any shipping you were charged on the original order.
After we send the refund, your bank or card issuer controls when it appears on your statement — usually 3–10 business days, and we have no way to speed that up. PayPal refunds are typically visible the same day.
Damaged or defective items
Email hello@niftyden.com within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. For lower-value items we will usually not ask you to ship anything back.
If a product develops a fault after the 30-day window but within a reasonable lifespan, still write to us. We have no legal obligation there, but we would rather keep a customer than win an argument.
Cancelling an order
Email us before the order ships and we will cancel it and refund you in full, same day. Once tracking has been generated we cannot stop the parcel — but you can refuse delivery or start a normal return when it arrives.
Items we cannot take back
- Gift cards
- Items marked Final Sale on the product page at the time you bought them
- Products returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Products damaged by misuse, disassembly, or unauthorised repair
This is a short list on purpose.
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges — it is slower for you. Return the item for a refund and place a new order; the refund and the new order run in parallel rather than one waiting on the other.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please email us first. We can almost always fix it within a day, and a chargeback locks the funds for months and helps nobody. We have never refused a legitimate refund.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under US federal or state consumer protection law, including the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.
Return address
Return labels we issue carry the correct address automatically. For reference:
